Art Diary - Gouache Painting

One of the best things I decided to do last week, was getting out my old Art Diary again. It's probably that one thing that gets me experimenting with colors and with new and crazy mixtures.
I've been practicing painting clouds in watercolors with more or less success, but since I only use gouache and heavier colors in my Art Diary, I decided to give it a try with that medium, too. And what can I say? I like how it turned out! Now I do want to paint a larger painting in gouache with lots of clouds in it :).

Das Schöne an einem Art Diary ist, das man frei ist, Dinge auszuprobieren, die man sonst nicht macht. Für dieses Wolkenbild zum Beispiel habe ich eine Untermalung in Aquarellfarbe gemacht und bin danach mit Gouache drüber. Ich wusste gar nicht, dass das so gut klappen würde, aber ich bin positiv überrascht von dem Ergebnis, es ist in etwa so, wie ich es mir gewünscht habe. Das macht richtig Lust darauf, ein größeres Bild zu malen, mit dem Schwerpunkt Himmel und Wolken. Mal sehen :).

Die letzten Wochen waren ja immer so ein auf und ab, aber seit einer Woche bin ich wieder fleißig am täglichen Malen und Kritzeln. Mal sehen, wie lange dieser Schwung anhält.
